Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you ("Customer," "you") and T & B Affiliates, LLC, operating as Groundwork Sites ("we," "us," "our"). By purchasing a website or using any of our services, you agree to these Terms.

Services we provide

Groundwork Sites builds, hosts, and maintains professional websites for small businesses. Our service includes:

Custom website design and development
Domain name registration and management
Website hosting on Netlify
SSL certificate (HTTPS)
A self-service editing portal for updating your site content

Payment and pricing

You pay a one-time setup fee when you purchase your website. The price is displayed at checkout before you pay.
Domain registration renews annually. We will notify you before each renewal and charge the renewal fee to your payment method on file.
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information.
All fees are non-refundable once your website has been built and deployed, except as required by law.

Your content

You retain ownership of all content you provide — business information, text, images, and logos. By providing content to us, you grant us a license to use it solely for the purpose of building and hosting your website.

You are responsible for ensuring that your content does not violate any laws or infringe on the rights of others. We reserve the right to remove content that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be unlawful, harmful, or in violation of these Terms.

Your account

If you receive login credentials to edit your website, you are responsible for keeping them secure. You agree to notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use our services to:

Engage in any unlawful activity
Distribute malware, spam, or phishing content
Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
Host content that promotes violence, hatred, or discrimination
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts

We may suspend or terminate your site if you violate these terms.

Domain names

We register domain names on your behalf through Dynadot. The domain is registered in our account with full WHOIS privacy protection enabled. If you cancel your service, we will assist you in transferring the domain to your own registrar account upon request.

Service availability

We strive to keep your website available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Hosting is provided by Netlify and is subject to their uptime and service terms. We are not liable for downtime caused by our hosting provider, internet outages, or events beyond our reasonable control.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Groundwork Sites and T & B Affiliates, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Cancellation

You may cancel your service at any time by emailing us at hello@groundworksites.com.
Upon cancellation, your website will be taken offline within 30 days.
We will delete your data within 90 days of cancellation upon request. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Domain transfers are available upon request after cancellation.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which T & B Affiliates, LLC is organized, without regard to conflict of law principles.
